Kishore Club thrashed City Club 4-1 in the final to win the 8th Gatikrushna Memorial Bhubaneswar Football League at Unit-I High School ground here on Wednesday. Sanjit Pradhan starred in the triumph, scoring a brace, while Siba Shankar Pradhan and Prasant Nayak contributed one goal each. City Club pulled one back through Niramal Swain. Higher Education Minister Devi Prasad Mishra presented the trophy and prizes at the closing function.
Earlier in the semifinals, Kishore Club edged out Capital Sports Club 5-3 in tie-breaker, while City Club got the better of Nalco 1-0. Nirmal Swain scored the all-important goal for City Club in the third minute.
